Giants Trade Six overall to Broncos, at 10 Select LB, Devin White

The Giants have a plan and it may be bringing Eli Manning back on a one-year deal next season, but instead of choosing a quarterback they’re not sure about at six overall, they trade the pick to Denver and at pick 10, they grab the linebacker Devin White of the future to solidify the middle of the defense for their Defensive Coordinator.

In return, the Giants net future first round pick in 2020 and Denver’s 3rd round pick in 2019

With this move, the Giants picked up another valuable asset in future first round pick and draft capital this year, but most importantly they added one of the best Linebackers in the nation coming straight out of LSU.

Devin White, starting middle linebacker from LSU, standing in at 6’1 240 lbs of mean, nasty, hard-hitting, full motor, non stopping defender. Devin ran 4.42 at the combine and also added 22 reps on bench to show is strength. His Highlights are all over the internet and his stats are undeniable.

Leading the SEC in total tackles with 123, 12 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 8 quarterback hurries 3 forced fumbles and a pair of fumble recoveries. Devin White Brings the ultimate tackling presences, his play style reminds of a Chris Benoit from WWE.

He’s a whatever it take kind of player, brings a strong presence to the field and the players around him know he’ll do whatever it take to get the job done and find a way to shut down the opposition at whatever cost.

Just like Kevin Costner in draft day, for me the Giants should be thinking Devin White no matter what. Even if that means taking him with the original 6 and no trade; but this is my draft so he falls to the Giants at 10.
