New York Giants have several roster needs that must be addressed this offseason and the 2019 NFL Draft offers the perfect opportunity to do so.

The New York Giants entered the 2019 league year with plenty of questions that needed to be answered and so far, the front office has done nothing to answer them. The franchise looks to be in complete upheaval, if the Odell Beckham Jr. and Olivier Vernon trades are any indication and has been frustratingly vague about its vision for the future, despite general manager Dave Gettleman’s assurances to the New York media.

Even if Gettleman and company have the perfect plan to bring the Giants back to their former glory, they have plenty of work ahead of them to make it happen. Thanks to trades and ineffective free-agent signings over the past calendar year, New York’s roster is absolutely riddled with holes that have yet to be adequately filled.

Outside of a handful of big names who are well outside of the cap-strapped Giants’ price range (See Ezekiel Ansah and Ndamukong Suh), the current free agent market is lacking the kind of impact talent the team needs to improve.

That being said, Big Blue will seriously need to do its homework and look to the 2019 NFL Draft to address its most pressing areas of need. The Giants possess three of the first 37 picks (No. 6, No. 17 and No. 37 overall) and 12 total picks this spring, giving them the perfect opportunity to find the talent necessary to, whether they want to admit it or not, hasten the rebuild that they’re clearly starting.

Almost every position on the roster should be addressed as things currently stand, but the Giants need to address the following seven areas if they want to come out of the draft with a more talented team.
