Round One: Nick  Bosa, Edge, Ohio State

With the third pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select, a no-brainer!

Jets fans would agree that this would be a dream scenario. Ever since the rumors began that Kyler Murray could go number one did this scenario become possible. Once it did, and Josh Allen went number two, there was no choice but to select Nick Bosa.

If this were real life the Jets would have the card in to the commissioner before Rich Eisen could tell a bad Jets joke.

With a quarterback on the roster, finally, the next biggest drought for the Jets has been a good pass rush off of the edge. Not since John Abraham have they been able to present a dominant force that could get into the backfield consistently.

Bosa can do that and more.

In 2018 Bosa lost significant time due to injury, but in the previous year he posted 16 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.

Lance Zierlein believes that Bosa will be effective as a 4-3 or 3-4 rusher and can even come inside if needed. That is the type of versatility that makes an impact in games and earns Pro Bowl selections.

OK that was easy. With no picks in round two, on to round three.
