Saturday: JJ  Arcega-Whiteside, WR

Let’s face it. Guys, we are at our happiest when we have toys to play with, am I right? Some of us are video game players and need the best system and the latest games. Some of us are into technology, be it with our phones or with other types of gadgets.

The same is true for a quarterback. They are at their best when they have a variety of weapons to use. If we want Sam Darnold to excel, we need to give him as many weapons as possible. He must have guys to throw to.

Quincy Enunwa, Robby Anderson and Christopher Herndon are nice. They just aren’t enough. The Jets need more.

JJ Arcega Whiteside is the guy I am looking forward to watching.

First of all, he stands at 6-3. That’s only two inches behind Mike Evans, for example. It’s also a great height to make an impact in the red zone. This just in, having guys that can score touchdowns is a good thing.

He also found the end zone 23 times over his last two seasons at Stanford. That’s a number that will translate at any level.

With this kind of skill set, he will be intriguing to see how he tests out. He could be a steal late on day two.
