Houston Rockets

Right now, James Harden looks like he could lead Houston to a championship all on his own with how he is playing.

Harden looks like a man possessed with how he is currently playing.  With numbers that rival greats like Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain, it’s not a surprise they are suddenly everyone’s favorite team again.

Unfortunately, we know he won’t be able to keep up his historic pace all the way through June and this team will definitely need some help to make a deep playoff run.

With Chris Paul and Clint Capela both out, the team signed Austin Rivers and Kenneth Faried to help plug holes, but it could definitely still use a double-double big man like Kanter.

Similar to Oklahoma City, the Rockets are still one piece away from truly contending with the Golden State Warriors.

Kanter adds a solid veteran presence that this team lost with Trevor Ariza.

He will fight for every rebound and make Capela feel more confident under the basket.  Signing Kanter also allows Capela to fully heal his thumb and not feel a need to rush back and risk re-injury.

The Knicks could also look to get back a veteran guard like Eric Gordon or P.J. Tucker.
