The New York Giants are trying to decide if they want Eli Manning to be their quarterback next season. So we take a look at their quarterback options for the 2019 season.

After going 3-13 in 2017, the New York Giants were hoping for a better season in 2018.

However, they struggled in 2018 despite drafting Saquon Barkley, who was the highlight of the Giants season. Big Blue finished the season 5-11.

The biggest question for the Giants this offseason is what they will do at the quarterback position.

At a season-ending press conference, Giants General Manager Dave Gettleman wouldn’t commit to quarterback Eli Manning for 2019.

Here’s what Gettleman said when asked if he was committed to having Manning as their quarterback in 2019, via Michael Eisen of the Giants website:

“Here’s what I’m committed to do. I’m committed to making the best decision in the interest of the New York Football Giants. That’s what I’m committed to do. We’re in the evaluation process. I know that you guys want answers now, but very frankly, I didn’t come in yesterday. I’ve got to do what I do, which is get in my office and watch film. We’re going to meet this week with the coaches and get their evaluation, we’ll meet next week with pro personnel and get their evaluations, and get their feelings on everything. That’s our schedule, and I will be watching film for the next who knows how long until my eyes bleed. That’s what I do. So, my commitment is to make this team the best team it can be and if that happens to have Eli playing quarterback, it does.”

While Gettleman said he wasn’t committed to Eli, he said that the Giants are committed to Odell Beckham Jr.

With the Giants not committed to Eli Manning , will they have a new quarterback in 2019?

The Giants could keep Eli as their quarterback, get a quarterback in free agency, or draft a quarterback. Let’s break down the Giants quarterback options for 2019.
