2018 Dolphins

2018 is year three of the Adam Gase program. It should be finally sinking in and the team should be making strides right?

They started out 3-0 and people thought it was, in fact, coming together. It wasn’t as the Dolphins only won four the rest of the way to finish 7-9.

Next. Gregg Williams is a great choice. dark

How about the ratings? The offense was 26th in DVOA. They averaged 289.9 yards per game, good for 31st in the league.

Come together? Not really Adam.

Again, Ryan Tannehill was hurt this year but he did start 11 games in 2018. He threw for 17 touchdowns vs. nine interceptions. He also completed 64% of his passes.

These are not the statistics of an offensive guru. Actually, they aren’t even close.

I will be the first to admit that he is a great coach if he becomes one. But the statistical evidence is that Adam Gase is not ready to be a good head coach.
