Save of the year?

I do not care how many saves Greiss makes the rest of this year. Poke checking Sidney Crosby on a breakaway is the greatest thing I have ever seen.

That is not true, but it is Sidney Crosby and the Penguins. To stuff him like that was just so special. Only it being Crosby would give me this feeling.

It was so electric.

For more context, this was the point in the season where the Islanders has been winning a little bit, but no one was really sure if they could be considered legit yet.

That moment proved me, and hopefully many others, that there was a chance they were actually a good hockey team.

Greiss stood on his head that night and made that clutch save. It felt special because normally Crosby would bury that shot and it would be the dagger that killed the Islanders.

Naturally, the Islanders and Sidney Crosby will cross paths again, and it would have to be in the playoffs because the Islanders already played them four times this regular season.

However, that save was pretty and so big-time it should give Greiss and the Islanders the confidence to win.

The second I watched that save, I knew it would make this list. There is great chance it remains a top moment for a long-time.

It was against Sidney Crosby. That is glorious.
