Attitude

What do I mean by attitude? It has to do with why I have Jamal Adams in the picture on the top.

Adams is on his way to his first Pro Bowl, we all know this. He has also taken on the role of a leader.

The biggest thing we have learned has been about his character. Adams absolutely hates to lose and he has no problem sharing that fact.

Here is a quote from Jamal after the loss to the Dolphins:

"“I’m sick of losing,” he added. “Honestly, I’m sick of losing. I’m fed up with losing. … It pisses me off every time. I’m not a loser. I want to get back on the winning track. We’ve lost three straight? Come on, man.”"

Unfortunately this is not a universal attitude around the team, and it needs to be.

It starts with the coach. They need to find a coach that has an attitude about losing. They have to hate losing.

None of us are interested any more in hearing the usual “if we made one more play” comments. They fall on deaf ears and make us hate the coach even more.

Get a guy that gets fired up when they lose. Find someone that gets hurt right in their soul every time the Jets come up short.

THAT will change the attitude and the culture around this football team. Find me THAT guy.
