New York Giants: Current NFL QBs who could start for the Giants in 2019
Tyrod Taylor
The biggest long shot on this list is Tyrod Taylor. He is a veteran in the NFL and started in Buffalo for three seasons.
However, he is very limited.
In his career, he has been benched for a rookie twice. One time being Nathan Peterman when he was in Buffalo. Then this season, early on for Baker Mayfield.
He was also once benched so Cardale Jones could start a game for the Bills, but many people forget about that.
Tyrod Taylor does, however, protect the football, and make drives last longer.
Tyrod and Eli are almost complete opposites. Tyrod can scramble and run and is hesitant to throw the ball.
Eli has bricks for feet and use to never be afraid to sling the ball.
What is similar to them though is this. Tyrod succeed his best last season by having a great defense and LeSean McCoy, who is an elite running back.
The Giants already have Saquon Barkley already in place. Plus, Odell Beckham Jr. would be the best target Tyrod Taylor has ever been able to throw to.
If the Giants can build up a line and defense, Tyrod will protect the ball and use his resources to help the Giants stay in games.
Tyrod Taylor could come in, and he is another young option at just 29 years old. He is set to be a free agent this offseason, so he would be the easiest to bring in. Well, the least complicated.
