Hank’s best season ever?

The New York Rangers might have their best player ever currently on this roster. His name is Henrik Lundqvist and you have heard of him.

This season, “Hank” as many call him, has done nothing short of stand on his head.

This is not Henrik’s best season ever according to most stats, but I will stand by this when I say it is his best season ever.

He has almost no help on defense and is responsible for most of the momentum the Rangers get in their games. He keeps them in almost every game.

Just in their last game vs the Vegas Golden Knights, he made 37 saves. That has become a trend for Hank.

When breaking it down even more, Hank has been making a ridiculous amount of saves.

According to his hockey-reference page, he has faced under 30 shots just six times this season. That is in just 25 games played.

However, he has a .914 save percentage and a 2.87 GAA.

If you take things by a game by game reference, which is how the Rangers should be taking things, then he is facing a challenge basically every single night.

To make it more impressive, he has 10 wins this season. So, despite being under attack almost every single night, he gets the wins.

His 10 wins are almost as many as the Rangers have as a team. They cannot win with anyone else in-goal this year.

Just based off even observations alone, he is the most valuable he has ever been to the Rangers this season.

If he makes even three or four less saves a game, the Rangers would be a terrible team.

The Rangers will not go as far as Hank will take them, he cannot do it alone, he can only do his job so much.

However, the Rangers will not go far at all without Hank. He is the only one who can put them over the edge, have they make it far enough to matter.
