Buffalo Bills: Bills fans get much deserved praise in FanSided’s Fandom 250
The Buffalo Bills are known for many things but by far the best thing they are known for is the loyalty of their fans. Here at FanSided, that is no longer a claim, but a fact now that they made the list on the Fandom 250.
The Buffalo Bills are one of the many teams we cover here at Empire Writes Back. To some of you that might be breaking news, or to hopefully many of you, this is where you come for Bills content.
But also here at Empire Writes Back, we are one of the many sites that make up the FanSided Network.
This is our platform to talk about New York sports down to the specifics, but it is all part of a larger network.
Next. Time for the Bills to bring all focus onto 2019. dark
One of the things FanSided does that is awesome is they made a ranking of the best fans in the world.
Whether it be a team, player, celebrity, etc, FanSided has you covered.
As part of its namesake, being “Fan” and all, they have a system where they crack down what makes up the 250 best.
On the list this year, that’s right, are Buffalo Bills fans.
To make this easier to understand, and then hopefully brag about, here is how they create the rankings. The following block quote is directly from their website:
"“This year, for the first time, we are revealing the composite score our editors assigned to each fandom. We also refreshed our approach and created a more intricate scoring system. We landed on five key measures, each was assigned a number of points for a total (and perfect score) of 100:Legacy (10 points)Fansmanship (25 points)Passion (25 points)Buzz (25 points)Magnitude (15 points)”"
So, that is an idea of how each team gets its ranking.
As far as the Buffalo Bills fans are concerned, they rank in at 55th overall and 7th out of all the NFL teams on the list.
Out of 250 people, to be 55th, that is fair.
With me being a Bills fan, a suffering loyal one at that, I could sit here and argue that the Bills and their fans are the best in the NFL.
But, that would not be easy to justify. That would be just me saying it with no claim or facts to back it up.
So, for our fellow colleagues here at FanSided to come up with an actual organized system to rank just how loyal Bills fans are, is more valuable than me just saying it.
But, when you think about it, the final ranking makes sense.
Bills fans go viral basically every weekend for jumping through flaming tables or sitting through the biggest snowstorm this side of the hemisphere just to watch their team.
The fan base continued to grow along with the 17 playoff drought that just ended in 2017.

Anyway, Bills fans already know how tough it is to watch this team. They have been awful to watch for almost two decades now, but we never wavered.
It is nice to finally get some recognition for staying loyal and always representing proudly.
