New York Giants, New York Rangers sit atop this week’s Empire Writes Back Power Rankings
It has been another busy but wonderful week in the sports world and the New York Giants and New York Rangers win the week. But, where does your favorite team land in this week’s power rankings?
The New York Giants have moved up from last week’s power rankings while the New York Rangers stayed in the top two.
With the holiday coming up, things are about to get even more hectic. However, it was still a long week in New York sports with three of the four major sports still in action.
There was a Yankees trade, the Mets continue to not mess things up, and the New York Knicks keep on losing.
New York sports are about to heat up, even more too! The best is yet to come with some NFL divisional matchups and with the New York Red Bulls in the MLS Cup semi-finals.
So, here we go with this weeks edition of the NFL Power Rankings. Did the New York Jets move up from the last spot?
team. 31. The New York Giants are on a winning streak! This is not a drill this is real life and it feels so strange. It is an ideal thing the Giants are on a winning streak, but it is only baby steps towards where they were expected to be, but baby steps are much better than taking steps backwards like they have been. It is the middle of November. So, the NFL is at the forefront of the sports world right now and the Giants do not make me want to put a bag over my face. Progress is great, a win streak is better. New York Rangers. 2. team. 95. The Rangers did not go from first to second because they had a fall off. They are going from first last week to only second this week because the Giants need to be glorified while it is still acceptable to do so. The Rangers, since we last ranked ’em last Wednesday, did suffer a loss to the Islanders, but then went back to winning. The Rangers are the gift that keeps on giving. They are a gift because they are winning and a gift because even if they do have a falloff, that is what is expected. There is little room to be disappointed. In New York sports, not being overly disappointed is about the only good thing we got going for us right now.. . Previous:

It was glorious that they did not play because I didn’t have to watch them and have them ruin the even more glorious 41-10 rout of the Jets that they had two weeks ago. So, for that, they stay higher up in the power rankings. Not too bad to hang with the NYC Market big boys like that..

12. team. 85. The Devils are not winning a lot of games. They are not the worst team, but are not scoring many goals and are giving up a lot.
