Zion Williamson

Death, taxes, and the NBA Draft Lottery never helping the Knicks out. Patrick Ewing and that lottery was so long ago, I no longer feel it is a valid argument.

So in a perfect world, the Knicks are just bad enough to win the lottery and get this guy.

Zion Williamson is a monster. One game played at Duke and the whole world is on watch.

Physically, it is impossible for him to fail at this level. The only thing he has to do is work for it and he will be a star in this league.

With Coach K at Duke, and in this ideal scenario with David Fizdale in New York, he will have the coaching to help him succeed.

There are some pretty bad NBA teams right now.

So, the Knicks could even try to be the worst and still not get there, but that does not mean they won’t get Zion Williamson.

In the above highlights, the game really did not count, but still that ability is unreal.

So, he will be the number once overall picks.

Even if the Knicks once again get no luck in the lottery, there are fine consolation prize . His Duke teammate R.J. Barrett is some one the Knicks could hope for too.

So, Knicks fans, just hang on tough. Use this season to enjoy the steal of the century that might be Allonzo Trier, let the losses pile up, let the money train to barrel in, and relax.

All three of these things could happen to the Knicks. It would be ideal if they get even one of these things to happen.

New York teams will almost never use the term “rebuild” only allude to it, but for the Knicks, if their “rebuild” leads them to one of these players or scenarios, it won’t look so crazy anymore.
