New York Giants: Three players who have disappointed the most this season
By Sam Friedman
The New York Giants have been a massive disappointment this season. Of all the players on the team, who has under achieved the most?
Coming into the season, the New York Giants were playoff hopefuls with a very bright future. Eli Manning was heading into the season with a new coach, a revamped offensive line, and the most sought after running back since Adrian Peterson in Saquon Barkley.
The Giants have fallen flat on their faces, not looking like a potential playoff team at all.
They are vying for the first overall pick in the draft, and couldn’t be more disappointing. As a fan, they are extremely hard to watch .
Thank goodness for the bye week.
The G-Men have lost a handful of gut wrenching games.
They lost to the Panthers, Redskins, Falcons, Jaguars, and Cowboys by seven points or less. There is something to be said about that.
The other thing to be said is that better teams win these games.
The ugly games, where it can go either way. These games, the ones that Panthers continue to win, are how you punch playoff tickets.
Big Blue has played one of the easiest schedules so far, and will continue to play teams that are under-performing.
Perhaps they can squeeze out a few more wins as the season goes on.
After the fire sale, getting rid of Eli Apple and Damon Harrison, it looks less likely to even do that.
There is not one single person to blame about the monumental collapse of the Giant’s season. However, there have been players specifically that have underperformed drastically.
These players will be evaluated a the end of the season with the Giant’s staff debating if they belong on the team.
