Time to break down this week’s New York Jets loss. These are three reasons why the Jets lost to the Miami Dolphins by the score of 13-6.

It’s the morning after another bad one by the New York Jets. On Sunday afternoon in Miami they looked listless, they looked like a team without passion and the score of the game didn’t indicate how bad they really looked.

13. 59. Final. 6. 30

Especially on offense, things did not look good for the boys in the green and white. They were only able to net 282 yards on offense. That, right there, won’t win too many games for a football team.

The defense, once again, gave the Jets a chance to win. Part of that was because the quarterback on the other side was Brock Osweiler. After all he only went 15-24 for 139 yards. Osweiler didn’t exactly tear it up.

Even so, when a defense holds a team to six points they are going to win most games. That is exactly what the Jets defense did. The Dolphins offense posted six points. The Jerome Baker pick six was the difference in the game.

With Osweiler leading the way this was one the Jets really could have had. Heading into the bye week they brock Osweiler and next they likely have Nathan Peterman with the Bills.

It could potentially be Derek Anderson or Josh Allen but none of them are scary either.

New York could have taken this one but they just didn’t have enough to get it done.

Let’s go through three reasons why.
