NFC East Race

This may or may not blow your mind, but the New York Giants will not win the NFC East Division.

The Giants are already 0-3 in the division and two of those losses came at home. The Giants are three back of the third place Cowboys in the loss column and are all but officially out contention to win it.

But, this weekend, the Giants could fall even further out of the race without even playing.

The Eagles have a bye this weekend too so the Giants can’t lose ground on them, but they did already lose to the Birds.

But, the Redskins and Cowboys both play this weekend and both have winnable games.

The Redskins will be hosting the Atlanta Falcons during Week 9. That is far from a guaranteed win, but the Falcons have not been the same and the Redskins are slipping through the cracks as a legit contender.

The Cowboys, who are coming off of their own bye, will be hosting the Tennessee Titans at home on Monday night football.

No wins are guaranteed in the NFL, but the Titans play in Dallas once every eight years. That is not going to be an easy for them and the Cowboys are a much better team at home.

The Giants could not even play yet still fall back even more in the NFC East.

Sometimes, it feels nice to be playing poorly but still hanging tough, the Giants have a chance to not even look like they are hanging tough.

A Redskins and Cowboys victory would be something the Giants do not want to see this weekend. However, they won’t exactly be challenged.

Giants could fall out sight of these teams by the end of Monday.
