The New York Giants are the opposite of a hot streak. However, they have their bye week this weekend which should be stress free, right? Not so fast. Here are three ways the Giants could still ‘lose’ during the bye week.

The New York Giants head into their bye Week during Week 9 of this NFL weekend. There is a case to be made that the Giants are in desperate need of their bye week.

The Giants have won a singular game on the 2018 season so far and things only seem to be getting worse as the days go on.

Luckily for the Giants, the schedule beyond the bye week does not seem too tough on the surface. The Giants have winnable games coming up.

As for those who are all aboard the “Tank” train, the Giants seem to be doing well in that department too as they cannot even win at home and have yet to even win on the East Coast this season.

What is good timing for the Giants though, is this bye week.

Giants fans can get a week off from watching this train wreck of a team and the Giants have a week to mess around with their players and see if they can incorporate something new into their strategy.

There is a running gag amongst football fans that when their team is struggling, they lose to the bye week.

Since the Giants can’t literally do that, there still are some ways that the Giants can come out of the bye week with some tough hills to climb.

Since a QB chance is unlikely this season, the Giants can at least hope for some outside factors to go their way, even though they do not play, they can still “lose” the bye week.

The Giants will be watching this weeks games from the couch. They might not have metaphorically shown up for most of their games this year, but this time they will literally not play.

With that, here are three ways the Giants can still have a terrible bye week.
