The New York Jets need to make a change at the end of the 2018 season. Here are five reasons why Todd  Bowles needs to be fired.

As November begins, New York Jets fans have Todd Bowles in their cross-hairs. His name is one that flames the passions of fans on both sides of the issue. It’s understandable, his team hasn’t caused him to smile much lately, or much at all during his tenure for that matter.

Four years into Bowles tenure and the Jets have not been back to the playoffs. They got close in 2015 but there hasn’t been anything close to a run since. At 3-5 here in 2018, they are on the brink of another season outside the playoff race.

Yes, this year is about Sam Darnold. His progress is the most important element to 2018. But that doesn’t change the fact that there have been issues that have continued, even with Sam Darnold around, that are all about the coaching.

The fan base is split. There are some that believe that with Darnold progressing, Bowles should get another year.

But, there is a growing faction that believes that enough is enough. They believe it is time for Todd Bowles to be shown the door.

Now that Hue Jackson and Todd Haley have seen the same fate, Jets fans are even more ready for a change.

Here we come to tell you that the growing faction is right. Here are five reasons why Bowles needs to be gone at the end of the season.
