With the New York Giants an embarrassment, is this the worst time ever to be a New York sports fan?

The Giants have two, once in a generation players in Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley.
I know, “two, once in a generation players” is an oxymoron, but it is true. These two guys can single-handedly carry an offense, if someone can get them the ball.
Eli Manning may have the worst pocket awareness of all time.
One of the most famous plays ever, Eli’s crowning achievement, the helmet catch, should’ve been a sack.
Watching him play, it is crazy to think he will most likely be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Once he leaves, Giants might have a shot. Until then, lot of complaining from the couch
As for the “baby brother” the Jets have essentially never been good, and suffer from the same plague as the Knicks and Mets.
The ownership continues to shoot them in the foot with making horrendous draft picks, and letting good players leave.
The Jets finally have a quarterback that they think is going to change the franchise. Sam Darnold has been good so far posting 10 touchdowns to 10 interceptions.
Also, most keep in mind the last USC quarterback they had, Mark Snachez, who had a wild Jets career.
Quincy Enunwa is good, but is he the #1 receiver you want on top of the depth chart?
Probably not. The running game has been good with Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell, but now face injury problems an depth issues at that position.
The Jets’ defense has been pedestrian at best, but they have some great pieces in Leonard Williams and Jamal Adams.
These two are cornerstones of the defense for years to come. Besides these few bright spots, the Jets are a mediocre football team that aren’t all too exciting.
The Jets and Giants are both not ready to win anything significant. Both teams are hard to watch right now and it will take time.
Thank god for hockey season?
