With the New York Giants an embarrassment, is this the worst time ever to be a New York sports fan?

Amazin’ Bombers

Baseball in New York as a category, is by far the most polarizing of all the sports.

On one hand you have the Yankees, who just came off a strong season. But by all Yankees standards, they disappointed.

The Bombers were riding high, an incredible win over the Athletics in the wild card game, followed by taking one of two games in Boston to ruin home field advantage.

As we all know, Yankees went on to lose 16-1 in the next game at home, and the series the following night.

Wouldn’t exactly call it a successful season.

The Mets.

What a joke of a franchise.

They essentially have one offensive player that strikes fear into opponents in Yoenis Cespedes.  He is currently in a hospital bed getting his heel operated, his other heel now.

The Amazin’s continue to make horrendous moves that set their franchise back.

Most recently they hired an agent to be the general manager of their franchise in Brodie Van Wagenen.

I can’t see how that is a good move, with all the stat driven geniuses that are out there right now.

At the time, Mickey Callaway seemed like a great hire. Aside from playing Monday morning quarterback, every move the Wilpon’s make is head scratching.

Maybe the Yanks are only a few months away from something big. But, right now, there is not exactly a lot to brag about here.
