Is Manny Machado worth it considering his antics?

If you watched the Dodgers at all on their way through the playoffs, you probably saw Manny Machado make a questionable play or two.

Whether it be stepping on the first baseman’s foot, not running out a ball which appeared to be a home run, etc.

So do these antics make Machado worth it?

Who’s to say Manny Machado doesn’t act up like this again and all the sudden he gets suspended for it?

If the 2018 postseason was any signal of what’s to come, then chances are Manny Machado will continue to act as he did.

At multiple points throughout the postseason, Machado made headlines because of something wrong he did, or something he failed to do.

Twice he stepped on the foot of the first baseman, multiple times he failed to hustle out a hit and more.

If this is any sign of what’s to come then Manny Machado might not be worth the money.

If the Yankees are going to think about making a move for Machado they have to think about this long and hard.

Do they want to potentially think about discipline towards Manny Machado frequently?

Manny Machado is one of the most interesting players in the league and there will be many teams who ultimately decide not to go after him because of his postseason antics.

But, will the Yankees be one of the teams who decide to look past it in favor of his talent?
