Interest

Durant has been linked to the Knicks for some time now.

The Knicks have spent this offseason opening up cap room to sign some free agents. Kevin Durant is not like any other player the Knicks have it in the past. He is a sure thing.

So, the New York Knicks first went after Durant in 2006 and were unsuccessful.

However, Durant hasn’t said whether or nor he’s interested in playing for the Knicks.

Also, a question that needs to be asked here is how interested are the Knicks in Durant?

The Knicks obviously are interested in Durant and it seems that fans want him too.

We may not know how interested in Durant the Knicks are, but Knicks head coach David Fizdale isn’t paying attention to KD’s contract status.

Fizdale told Kelly Whiteside of the New York Times:

"“Not even a little bit. Nope. I don’t even like saying it when it’s not about anything, because he’s a killer. I was watching film on him the other day, and the guy’s just so efficient. He’s a special player. But no, I can’t talk about that other stuff.”"

Whether KD joins the Knicks will depend on how much interest there is on both sides. It is all speculation right now.
