More from Empire Writes Back

Sorry for stating the obvious, but no list like this would be complete without Andrew Luck having a spot on it.

Everyone knows his story. His first three season he went to the Pro Bowl, including 40 touchdown passes in 2014.

The injury bug has hit him quite often following those three seasons and we didn’t hear much from Luck.

Well, he is back and playing as well as ever. Through five games Luck is completing 66.5% of his passes, tops in his career.

He has also thrown 12 touchdowns vs only five interceptions.

Luck has been at his best with a clean pocket, completing 68.5% of his passes when his pocket is clean, per Pro Football Focus (subscription required).

In order to have a chance, the Jets have to get A-Gap pressure (between the center and guard) against Luck. That puts the pressure on the inside players like Steve McLendon and Nathan Shepherd. We have also seen Leonard Williams lined up to the inside.

Get in his face or it will be a long afternoon.
