New York Knicks or Brooklyn Nets, who will be the better team?

Stars shine brightest in New York
If you completely skipped the first slide, let me recap.
The Nets do not have a legitimate star on their team. They do have players that can make the jump next year.
However, the Knicks do have legitimate star potential on the team, who will propel them to victories when the lineup is healthy.
Kristaps Porzingis‘ health at the end of the season will be a big question mark. If he is playing at a high level, he’s the franchise cornerstone. His play will dictate the contract that he receives during this off-season.
But without him, it opens the door for other players to shine. Mainly, Enes Kanter and Kevin Knox. Kanter, the workhorse of the Knicks, had a 20-20 game Wednesday night.
Even in preseason, that’s impressive. He’s still young, and a great player/leader for the Knicks.
However, Knox can change the Knicks franchise.
Kentucky players tend to be great in the NBA. Knox has flashed a lot of skill in the limited sample size. He will be given the green light early in the Knicks offense.
Porzingis’ knee will also be a huge deterrent in free agency. Getting Kyrie Irving , Kevin Durant or Jimmy Butler will depend on if Porzingis can regain his form. A star of that magnitude bears weight on impending free agents decisions.
The Nets aren’t all that attractive of location for free agents. They have pieces, but not enough to truly compete in a league dominated by stars.
Knicks take this aspect of the rivalry for the potential of the roster.
Advantage: Teams are tied right now.
