New York Giants: 3 good, 3 bad, and the ugly in loss to the Saints
The “Ugly”
The Ugly: What lies ahead.
The New York Giants are 1-3 at the conclusion of the first quarter of their season. That is already not ideal. However what lies ahead is even more scary.
The net four weeks, or the next quarter, is as follows:
- @Carolina Sunday, 1:00
- VS Philadelphia, Thursday 8:20, on short rest
- @Atlanta Monday 8:15, on longer rest
- VS Washington Sunday, 1:00
None of those games are easy. The Redskins always give the Giants a hard time and the other three are the last three teams to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
The NFL is wild this year in the sense that just no one knows what to expect each week and teams randomly put on a clinic randomly.
But, we now have a decent portion of this Giants team and no matter how well they seem to matchup with someone, they have yet to meet expectation.
The ugly in the Saints game is that they lost and fell to 1-3. That is the now. But, in what is even more ugly, is what is next.
1-3 just went from bad to worse knowing the Giants have a tough hill to climb the next 4 games as well. Even matching their 1-3 mark, they are looking at 2-6.
2-6 is also ugly, perhaps uglier .
So, there it is, the good, bad, and ugly from the home loss to the Saints. The Carolina Panthers, who are coming off their bye week, is next.
