New York Giants: 3 good, 3 bad, and the ugly in loss to the Saints
The New York Giants once again failed to win consecutive games as they dropped their second home game of the year vs the Saints 33-18. Here is the good, the bad, and the ugly from the loss.
The New York Giants put up a fight against the New Orleans Saints. Then, the second half started.
The Giants went into the half with the game in reach and then let another one slip away in the winding minutes.
The Giants, overall, played poorly, There were some players who steeped up and we will get into that, but overall, it just felt like the G-Men wasted a beautiful fall evening in East Rutherford.
The Giants lost the game 33-18.
Aside from another bizarre score, the Giants took the latter number in the above sentence. They not only failed to score 30 points once again, they failed to score 20.
The Giants now sit at 1-3 on the year with two conference losses and already one in the Division. The Giants could easily be 4-0 or 0-4 so the season remains a wild one.
The Saints offense was simply the Saints offense. Alvin Kamara was a pest all game and the Saints once again shattered the narrative that they are not good at games outside in cold weather cities.
So, the Giants sit in last place in the NFC East once again. They still have time to overcome their deficits, but the hill keeps getting steeper and steeper.
This was one of their bigger games this year and they took the “L.”
Let’s give you three good things, three bad things, and the ugliest thing from the Giants loss to the Saints at home.
Like hearing personal news, let’s start with the bad.
