Strahan Wins the Super Bowl

In perhaps the best way for any athlete to go out, New York Giants legend, Michael Strahan went out as a champion of the world.

Michael Strahan is a legend of football. What he did on the Giants is nothing short of a Hall of Fame career.

The only issue is, aside from a Super Bowl run in 2000, Strahan was on a lot of bad Giants teams. It was not his fault, but just how it went down.

However, towards the end Strahan helped lead the Giants to the most surprising season maybe ever in the NFL. It ended up being the last season of his career, but he was still the beast he always was.

The thing is, this is only the retirement of Strahan’s football career. He is very much still in the limelight doing stuff in the fashion and entertainment industry.

But, his send off with the Giants is very much a great last hurrah.

Tiger won a lot, was the best for a while, fell off, now won again. A similar path for Strahan applies. Was always great early success, part of many bad teams, ended up back to the ultimate peak at the end.

It really is a great small part to that entire 2007 cinderella Giants team. Most people will remember the magic that helped them dethrone the once 18-0 Patriots of that season.

But, now that this was Strahan’s sendoff as a Giants, that is one heck of a way to go out. A proper legends send off, if you will.
