Denzel  Ward

The thing about being a bad football team for so long is that you get a lot of high draft picks. Denzel Ward was the fourth overall pick in the 2018 draft and is already paying dividends.

Thus far in 2018 he has posted two of the team’s three interceptions, both coming off of Ben Roethlisberger. If he can get that done against a seasoned veteran like Big Ben, imagine what he can do to a rookie if the Jets aren’t careful.

Next. Three positives in the Miami loss. dark

Why is a talented corner such a worry? We have seen the picks that Darnold has thrown so far. A talented cornerback and goad a rookie quarterback into making a mistake.

The Jets must prep for this guy. He has two games on tape in addition to his college career. Understand his tendencies so Sam is ready.

If mistakes can be avoided, it’s obviously a good idea.
