The New York Jets have a quick turnaround to week number three, so we have our three players to watch against the Cleveland Browns.

Sam Darnold gets his first taste of a quick turnaround as the New York Jets take on the Cleveland Browns in the second game of the Thursday Night Football schedule.

New York enters the game with a 1-1 record while the Browns winless streak continues. They broke the losing streak with a tie in week one but fell to the Saints last week to put their record at 0-1-1.

No doubt the primetime schedule makers were hoping for a Sam Darnold vs. Baker Mayfield matchup in this one, but Hue Jackson had other ideas, naming Tyrod Taylor as the team’s starting quarterback.

So it’s a fight between the rookie and the guy that Jets fans are all too familiar with. In six previous meetings, Taylor has posted a 4-2 record against the Jets with a 63% completion percentage. He has also scored twice on the ground.

This series has run pretty evenly, with the Browns leading 13-12 overall. However, the last five games have belonged to the Jets, with the last Browns victory coming in 2007.

In the past there have been memorable moments in this series, but not always in the Jets favor. Ask an older Jets fan about the “Marathon By the Lake” if you have any doubts.

With the quick turnaround, we preview with a quick turnaround. Here are three Browns that the Jets must contend with in order to win their second game.
