1. Winner in the playoffs

In Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Nets faced off vs. the extremely well-rounded Pistons.

These Pistons were unlike the bad boy Pistons of the past, but were still one of the best teams during this generation.

They sported Chauncey Billups, Ben WallaceRasheed Wallace, Richard Hamilton, and Tayshaun Prince. Not one of those players was below average, making game planning very difficult for opposing coaches.

Somehow, after 47+ minutes of play, game tied at 74-74. How did two extremely elite NBA teams score less than 150 points combined in a basketball game?

The world may never know considering teams today score 74 points a few minutes into the third quarter.

Kidd’s move here was not very impressive, pretty elementary if you ask me.

No hesitation, no crossover, just a few hard right hand dribbles to the baseline, turnaround jumper, BANG! The Palace at Auburn Hills fans were flabbergasted

Kidd didn’t think about passing for a second, and over two outstretched arms, made the improbable jumper.

This shot propelled the Nets to a sweep of the Pistons and into the NBA Finals. This was the most significant shot of Kidd’s career. This play gets 4.9/5 drink spills for Kidd’s heroic effort.

Next. Vince Carter is next great Net who should make Hall. dark

Kidd spent a long time in the NBA and although some of these plays see him as a Maverick, his most clutch shots were with the Nets. That is also the team where he will be remembered most.
