The 2018-19 New York Knicks season has yet to start. Neither has the college basketball season. However, it is never too easy to look towards the draft.

Last week, I dove into my first version of draft prospects for the New York Knicks when I identified Romeo Langford and Cam Reddish as potential draft picks for the Knicks.

This week, I have identified another two other players as potential draft prospects for the New York Knicks in 2019 to eye down in the draft.

The 2019 NBA Draft has potential to be the best draft since 2003 when we saw players such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony start their NBA careers.

For 2019, we have names you’ve probably heard of in Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish, Nassir Little, Shareef O’Neal, Romeo Langford, Quentin Grimes and many more.

This being said, it’s tough to make the wrong decision when there are so many amazing prospects with bright futures.

If the Knicks play in 2018-19 is anything like it has been the last couple of years, they will likely have a lottery pick once again.

With Kristaps Porzingis out for what looks to be most of if not all of 2018-19, there is a good chance the Knicks get an early pick once again too.

The Knicks need a good deal of help at multiple positions going into the season. Positions they could use a little help in are shooting guard and some forward insurance.

At this moment in time, the Knicks have Tim Hardaway jr. at shooting guard with Frank Ntilikina and Damyean Dotson behind him.

At small forward, they’ve got their lottery pick Kevin Knox who has the potential to lock down that position for a long time in the Big Apple, but behind him they have less promising talent in Courtney Lee and Lance Thomas.

This, plus the lack of talent behind Porzingis at power forward, creates a problem with depth.

With all that being addressed,  it might be in the Knicks’ best interest to possibly take a look at either a shooting guard and or some forward help in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Here are some:
