Marcus Murphy has not been a bubble player for about two weeks now. But, since he was at the beginning of the preseason we will put him on this list.

He is another player that got NFL reps last season when LeSean McCoy got hurt. However, the offseason addition of Chris Ivory made for a crowded backfield in Buffalo.

Well, now, it should not be too crowded because this preseason, Murphy has looked like a player capable of being on the 53.

In what only has a little bit to do with the question marks surrounding the McCoy situation, Murphy might actually get playing time in the regular season too.

No one really knew how many running backs the Bills were going to keep on their roster going into this preseason.

The Bills could have done this year what they did last season and get one-off the streets when they needed one. Ironically enough, that was Murphy.

He has done more than enough to make this make team and is a good running back. He will be a depth provider but could also take on a bigger load.

He really is the first bubble player to be a near lock for the final 53. Even though there were initially doubts, there really should not have been.
