Logan Thomas

Logan Thomas is another player who comes with a good story. But, that is not what will keep his job safe, that is his talent.

The former Arizona Cardinals quarterback turned Buffalo Bills tight end, as crazy as that sounds, will see his wild NFL career last for now.

The Bills’ tight end core is oddly stacked. That will be a position that should not be a problem for them.

But what has kept Thomas on this team is how he has not only done this preseason, but the potential he showed last year.

He was a member of the team last year and did well. This preseason, he found himself playing deep into their fourth game against the Bears.

In what is not always ideal to be doing, Thomas showed us why he should no longer be a bubble player, but on the team.

His ability to pick up on offenses, after all he did use to be a QB, will be an asset for this young offense.

Simply having him around could help make a difference, but he is athletic and showed he can make plays.

Thomas might end up being the lowest tight end on the depth chart. But, he has surely done enough to probably make the final 53.

His ability to save his NFL career once by switching to tight end was one thing, but being able to make the team as said tight end is another.

Logan Thomas has shown he is the gift that keeps on giving. If he makes the 53, he has earned it.
