Buffalo Bills: Five bubble players who might have saved their jobs this preseason
Ray-Ray McCloud
In what is by the far the coolest name on this list Ray-Ray McCloud has likely earned his way onto the 53 man roster.
Although he left the last game early with a knee injury, barring that being serious, the Bills rookie has done enough to keep his job.
Although, the wideout from Clemson was just unable to find the end zone vs the Bengals, he had just enough valuable reps to turn some heads and can make this team and proved himself in other games.
In what is a scary weak wide receiving core, McCloud will be one of the bottom few that ends up making it.
His ability to play well on special teams and his speed separated him from the pack. The Bills needs fast players who can help them in more ways than one.
Ray-Ray will be a good story too for he was the Bills’ sixth round pick in the draft. Perhaps that is another reason why his job is safe, it is too soon to give up on him.
McCloud can hopefully help the Bills not rely too much on Kelvin Benjamin or the still unproven Zay Jones.
However, the Bills have always had at least one speedster who can just run downfield and has potential to be a playmaker. McCloud already showed us some chemistry with Josh Allen and even more importantly, Nathan Peterman.
McCloud will likely make the Bills team although his contributions will likely be minimal for a while, there is just too much there to cut him.
