The New York Giants are officially more than halfway done with what has felt like an overall productive preseason. So, what are some of the most important notes from the first three games?

The New York Giants might not technically be undefeated in the preseason but they have done what is more important to do during this time, figured a lot of stuff out.

The Giants came out the gates painfully slow to usher in the Pat Shurmur era in New York’s blue hallway.

A loss to the Browns followed by a slow start vs the Lions in Week 2 called for a discouraging tastes in the mouths of big blue faithful.

However, all of that is null and void as the Giants ended up beating the Lions and are coming off winning the only game they actually needed to against the Jets in Week 3 of the preseason.

Now, it is time to really start gearing up for the regular season. There is plenty of reason to be optimistic about the Giants too.

Overall, the team showed there is a lot of substance and depth. The only major concern is the Saquon Barkley injury, but even safe is way better than sorry, obviously.

The Giants are coming off a year of dysfunction that cost many people their jobs. However, the heart of the team remains the same from the better days as 2018 nears.

So, of course they are still a work in progress, but the Giants are still going to win more than the three they did last year.

Sticking with three, here are three notes from the first three preseason games from the New York Giants.
