What does Cam Reddish bring to the table?

Perhaps one of the best players in the nation this season who hasn’t been talked about much, Cam Reddish can offer a dynamic skill set.

Cam Reddish is perhaps the best player in the country who you’ve heard nothing about.

Reddish will be suiting up for the Duke Blue Devils this upcoming season, and because of that he has been overshadowed by the lights of Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett.

But why?

Reddish is one of the best players in the nation and it was proven based on his number three ranking in ESPN’s Top 100 players of the 2018 class.

In the McDonalds All-American Game this past spring, Reddish went for 11 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists in 22 minutes.

Only one assist short of a double-double against the best competition in the country. Reddish has proven himself on the biggest stages and you can expect him to do just that once again in Durham next season.

With Duke having five of the top recruits in the country, as well as the three top overall recruits, it will be difficult for Reddish to truly shine. However, Reddish’s star power will manage to shine through ultimately making him a top-5 to 10 pick in the 2019 draft.

Duke’s lineup will likely look like this for the 2018-19 season:

  • PG: Tre Jones (#17 overall recruit, ESPN Top-100)
  • SG: RJ Barrett (#1 overall recruit, ESPN Top-100)
  • F: Cam Reddish (#3 overall recruit, ESPN Top-100)
  • F: Zion Williamson (#2 overall recruit, ESPN Top-100)
  • C: Marques Bolden (#16 overall recruit, 2016 ESPN Top-100)
  • Bench: Joey Baker (#41 overall recruit, ESPN Top-100)
  • Bench: Alex O’Connell (#87 overall recruit, 2017 ESPN Top-100)

By looking at those players and where they were ranked out of high school you can see that it is a star studded team that will need to work together to succeed.

On a team full of studs, you can expect one of the shining stars to be Cam Reddish, and Knicks fans keep an eye on him because he could be in orange and blue playing in MSG come the 2019-20 season.

Mets are rolling, but take it loosely. dark. Next
