New York Knicks: Way too-early 2019 Draft Prospects
Could Romeo Langford be the guy?
The past few seasons have been tough for the Knicks when it comes to the two guard slots. However, it seems as if they’ve found someone for the point guard position in Trey Burke. But, at the shooting guard position they don’t have anyone who could truly be the future.
Romeo Langford could be that guy of the future for the Knicks.
Tim Hardaway Jr. is currently the starting shooting guard for the Knicks. Hardaway wasn’t bad for the Knicks last season, but based on his career thus far, you know what to expect out of him.
Last season with the Knicks, Hardaway Jr. averaged 17.5 Points, 3.9 Rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
Not horrible in the slightest. But, once again, you know what to expect out of him before the season and there are other players out there who could improve upon that stat line.
Ahead of the 2018-19 NCAA Basketball Season one of the most talked about players was Romeo Langford.
In ESPN’s Top 100 basketball recruits for the class of 2018, Langford was ranked number five overall and the number one shooting guard for the class of 2018.
This being said, he is expected to be one of the best players in the country come the 2018-19 college basketball season. Langford will be suiting up for the Indiana Hoosiers this season under Archie Miller who will be coaching in his second season in Bloomington.
Last season, the Hoosiers went 16-15 and failed to make the NCAA Tournament. This being said, they will be relying heavily upon Langford to bring them back to the promised land which is the NCAA Tournament.
In 2018-19, you can expect Romeo Langford to be one of the most talked about players in the country while helping Indiana get back to the tournament.
