Carmelo  Anthony spent a lot of time with the New York Knicks, but as he joins his second different team since joining them, it is time to revisit the legacy he has left on the Knicks and their fans.

The New York Knicks and Carmelo Anthony might not have won anything together. That does not mean there was not a lot of drama. Year after year it always felt like Melo was at a crossroads with his teammates or management.

But, now that he is about to join yet another team since leaving the Knicks it is okay to rethink about what Melo has done for Knicks and how he should be remembered.

For one, regardless of how the Knicks were playing, Melo was always kind of fun player to watch.

Another positive is that if not for his toxic relationship with Phil Jackson and most of his coaches, there is a good chance the Knicks would not be in the position they are that allowed them to have an amazing draft in 2018.

However, there are always much bigger things in instances like these where a player leaves. Now that Melo is back with this ex-coach from the Knicks, Mike D’Antoni, it is fair to go back and see why so many of his years failed.

This lists will include everything he did with the Knicks while he played, how they look after he left, and the overall impact he will have on the fans and the city as his career goes on.

So, enough leading up to it, let’s just dive right into the list!
