- Teddy Bridgewater
It was just fantastic to see Teddy Bridgewater back on the field and playing well. That smile was infectious.
The smile had good reason to be there. Teddy went 7-8 through the air with 85 yards and a 16 yard touchdown connection with Isaiah Crowell.
He took a hit and was able to get up. Welcome back to the NFL!
- Sam Darnold
We couldn’t put this list together without putting Sam Darnold on it. Although, everyone thought his stock was pretty high anyways.
We have talked all about how good he really played in our observations. He made good decisions, strong throws and had command of the huddle.
The most important thing was that the game wasn’t too big for him. As high as his stock was entering the game, it went sky high afterwards.
- Nathan Shepherd
There were expectations heading into this one for Nathan Shepherd. As the only rookie listed with the starters on the depth chart, the coaches were looking to see him play well against the Falcons.
He didn’t disappoint. Shepherd had a big stuff against the run early in the game with the starters. Later on he flashed the ability to get after the passer.
Shepherd has heavy hands and is tough for opponents to block. He can move for a big guy and will be a big asset right away in 2018.
