New York Giants: Week 6 Opponent overview, matchups and prediction
Prediction: Giants 34 Eagles 27
In Week 6, the Giants will manage to beat the reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles 34-27.
On the offensive side of the ball, Eli Manning will take advantage of the Eagles weak secondary by finding Odell Beckham Jr., Sterling Shepard, and Evan Engram time and time again. In doing so, the Giants will get to the end zone over and often.
For really the first time of the season, rookie running back Saquon Barkley will take a backup role in an effort to avoid the Eagles strong defensive line.
This, however, will pay off in the end as the Giants offensive line will buy Eli Manning just enough time to find his star-studded receivers.
On the other end of the ball, the Giants defense will manage to hold off Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense just enough. In shutting down Wentz, Ajayi, Jeffery and company the Giants will hold off the reigning champs leading to yet another G-Men victory.
If the Giants manage to grind through this win that helps them more down the stretch in what could be a tight division. The Giants can afford to drop a few games vs the equally as tough if not better NFC South if they win in their division.
The Giants are ready to defeat the Eagles at home!
