How does the G-Men offense stack up against the Eagles defense?

The Eagles had one of the better defenses in the league last season. Carried mostly by their strong defensive line, they have only gotten better since they raised the Lombardi Trophy in February.

With the additions of Michael Bennett, Haloti Ngata, and more, the Eagles defense has never been more dangerous.

Adding Michael Bennett and Haloti Ngata to a defense that already has Fletcher Cox, Chris Long and more makes for a powerful lineup full of studs. Cox, Long, Bennett and Ngata had a combined 21 sacks in 2017 and you better believe they’ll be hungry for more in 2018.

In order to be successful in Week 6, Eli Manning will need to rely on his offensive line to buy him time to make a play. If Eli does not have the time to let Odell and the receivers run their routes, the Giants are going to be in for a long game.

During their matchup in late December last year, the Giants continued to go through the air time and time again. Even without the lights of OBJ, the Giants managed to get the job done through the air and keep the game close.

Without Beckham, Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram stepped up in a large way and each had one of their best games of their season vs Philly.

Shepard went for 11 receptions, 139 yards and one touchdown while Engram went for eight receptions and 87 yards.

These two having big games shows you that if the Giants had a full squad they would be able to take advantage of the Eagles somewhat weak secondary.

If the Giants do manage to take advantage of their talented wide receivers, they could escape Week 6 with a win against the reigning champs.
