The Eagles

After a Week Five matchup in Charlotte against the Panthers, the New York Giants will travel back home where they will take on the reigning Super Bowl Champions.

The New York Giants will continue their string of tough games when they take on the reigning Super Bowl Champion, Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.

After losing both games against the Eagles in 2017, the Giants will look to flip the script in 2018.

More from Empire Writes Back

The Eagles have only gotten better since winning the Super Bowl back in February. As they will look to do just that once again in 2018. This past offseason, the Eagles added defensive end, Michael Bennett, signed wide receiver Mike Wallace and more.

Not only that, but when the Giants and Eagles squared off late in December last year, the Eagles were without star quarterback Carson Wentz.

With Carson Wentz back the Eagles look more dangerous than ever and look as if they can make another run into February.

On the other side of the ball, however, the Giants have added to and reloaded their lineup since the two played last season.

When the Giants and Eagles squared off last season, the Giants were playing Tavarres King and Roger Lewis at wide receiver. Now that the Giants have a healthy Odell Beckham Jr. and running back in Saquon Barkley, you can expect this matchup to go differently than last year.

If the Giants stars show up in Week 6, you can expect the Giants to hold their own and put up a fight against the Eagles.

With that being said, lets look at how the Giants offense matches up against the Eagles defense.
