Very balanced schedule

The Brooklyn Nets have a very favorable schedule for this upcoming season. They have a chunk of games at home in a row followed by a few on the road.

However, there is still one stretch of games that might be tough for the Nets. They have a seven game road stand stating on Match 13 in Oklahoma City. The road stand ends on the 28th in Philly.

In that seven game stretch, they visit the Thunder, Lakers, Kings, Clippers, and Jazz. that is a lot of traveling clumped together in not a lot of days. The only silver lining in that seven game stretch is that some of those opponents might not be a very good team.

After that tough patch, they do get three straight at home but against the Bucks, Celtics, and Raptors.

All three of them will be solid, tough teams. So aside from the first 10 games, the seven on the road then those three at home will be another brutal stretch for Brooklyn.

Other than that though, the Nets should be able to handle every thing else pretty well. They only have more than three consecutive away games one more time aside from those seven.

So, overall, the Nets’ schedule is very balanced and the home/road stretches should never be an excuse.

The Nets have a schedule that should allow them to show progress in 2018-2019. All the burdens will be a good test for a young team and all the less difficult stretches will help them too.
