The New York Jets take on the Atlanta Falcons in their preseason opener at MetLife Stadium. Here are five players worth watching.
Here we are, New York Jets fans. Football is finally back. Tonight at 7:30 PM, our Jets take the field to debut the 2018 version against the Atlanta Falcons.
Coach Todd Bowles said during his press conference that all three quarterbacks should be ready to play tonight. That being said, look for Josh McCown to get minimal reps and the bulk to go to the other two quarterbacks.
In game one of the preseason, we don’t typically see much of the first team, so that leads to some interesting battles to watch. Some will be with players looking to make the team, some will be with players looking to move up the depth chart.
No matter who it is, it will be interesting. The preseason is a great study in watching a football team being constructed. The decisions made over the next few weeks will do a lot to shape what happens during the season.
