The game is a fresh start for both teams

Obviously, we talked about the New York Giants and there fresh faces and whole new regime.

However, it just so happens the visiting Browns also have a lot of new faces that will be looking to mold together early. The Browns were actually the only team worse than the Giants last season. So, they too, will be looking to turn some heads early on.

The Browns, considering they went 0-16, went all in this offseason. The Browns kept both their first round draft picks, traded for Tyrod Taylor and Jarvis Landry. To add onto it, they signed Carlos Hyde.

The Browns have the same coaching staff but bolstered their talent in what feels like an overnight attempt to not lose every game again.

So, not only do we get to see the Giants start trying to mold together their new chemistry, we also get their opponent do the same.

The first pre-season game is typically lackluster but it will still be interesting to see the chess match both first teams make early on in the game.

Both teams will be trying to leave a good first impression to ring in a new era of football. Even if it is the pre-season, winning is always encouraging to the players and the teams.

There is a lot of drama and storyline happening with the Giants and their best players right now. And they still impact Thursday’s pre-season opener at home.
