With one game of the preseason remaining, we make our predictions for the New York Jets 53 man roster for the upcoming season.

We are getting closer and closer to the return of New York Jets football. OK, it’s preseason football, but football nonetheless. This week, the Jets wrap up the preseason against the Eagles.

While fate of Sam Darnold is all but decided, there are a lot of other battles to watch as the players battle for roster spots. Game four gives everyone a chance to see the final roster battles finish up before cut down day.

It is always fun to start making predictions. What is a better pastime for us as fans than to make the decisions for our teams? They get paid so we tell them what to do. It’s the American way for sports fans.

To that end, we are going to make some predictions of our own. Specifically, what is the roster going to look like when the team heads to Detroit for week number one?

That’s right, we are taking an early stab at the Jets 53 man roster. How are they going to allocate numbers to each position? How many quarterbacks do they keep?

Remember this isn’t going to be a depth chart prediction, just a prediction as to who stays and makes the final 53.

That said, here we go.
