Fear not, New York Mets fans. Thanks to UMA health everyone can obtain release some baseball stress with free therapy sessions.
New York Mets fans, it has rained on our parade a lot in 2018. Sometimes literally, more often figuratively. However, the year has not been without its fair amount of stress, am I right?
We are in luck, because there is help and it is free.
UMA Health is offering free therapy sessions for Mets fans. No we aren’t kidding.
Company CEO Dave Kerpen announced that his therapists will provide a free session to self-identified Mets fans who register at freetherapyformetsfans.com. Act soon because the promotion is for a limited time only.

Clearly, the idea is to give a lighthearted promotion to Mets fans that are having a bad time right now. But there is also a much more important reason.
There has always been a stigma around seeing a mental health provider. People often think that it is a sign of weakness. I am here to tell you that it is not. It’s a sign of strength to admit that you need help.
People don’t get help when they have serious issues and problems. That can lead to tragic consequences. Getting the help you need is OK.
If people can go get help regarding something like the Mets, maybe they will feel more comfortable making that more serious phone call and preventing tragedy.
