The New York Knicks are coming off an abysmal season. Once again, they needed to clean house and start over. Aside from a new coach, what are other things to expect from the Knicks this upcoming season?
The New York Knicks one again find themselves with a new head coach. So, things are naturally going to feel different for the Knicks.
So, what are some of the other things we can expect from the Knicks?
The Knicks looked pretty decent in the summer league and both draft selections made solid first impressions.
Now, they just have to get everything else in order. It’s been a while since the Knicks last put a perennial contender out on The Garden floor. So, once again, the mindset to this season is the comforting “this new guy will be the guy” mindset.
However, it is a lot more complicated than that. The Knicks are still dealing with a Kristaps Porzingis injury, a young stud draft pick, and a first-year with a new team coach.
There are a lot of moving parts there. Although the expectations should not be high for this team, the Eastern Conference in the NBA is bad enough for any team to make a push towards the playoffs.
So, the Knicks stand just as much of a chance as anybody coming off a bad season to break through and make a push.
