Give Tyler Austin another chance

Okay, this might seem a little crazy, however, if the Yankees go the call-up route Tyler Austin is one of their options.

He has reps in the big leagues this season when he replaced Greg Bird. That is how he can help too. Although Austin can play the outfield along with first base, it is not a bad idea to put him at first and let Greg Bird DH.

This way, the outfield positions can be filled while still having a guy capable of playing defense there in emergency situations.

Speaking of young talent, Shane Robinson was also just called up to replace Luis Cessa while waiting for J.A. Happ. Now, the Yankees can just option someone else, or keep Robinson up while Judge goes to the DL.

The Yankees are not out of options in regards to getting young talent to come up and get reps to help fill at bats and innings.

The Yankees made a bunch of trades and none really for a outfielder. Brandon Drury is gone too so the option to put him in the outfield is gone too.

However, the Yankees can easily figure out how to get bodies in the outfield depth chart until Judge is healthy.

And if Clint Frazier comes around and is healthy before Judge, then there is the best option fulfilled.

The Yankees could live life without Judge by using players from within.
